Overhaul and Modification to Class 155 units
Brodie Engineering carried out a C6 overhaul, corrosion repairs, PIS modification and PRM modifications to seven of Porterbrook’s Class 155 units which are currently operated by Northern Rail.
All seven units were overhauled and modified at Brodie Engineering’s Kilmarnock depot, the last Class 155 unit being dispatched on the 29th of June 2019.
There were many challenges on this project as no two units were exactly the same. Brodie Engineering’s team members at all levels stepped up to support, our on-site in-house design team being able to work closely with our highly skilled production team to develop quick solutions to any problems.
